Boltsburn Mine Weardale England
This is a stunning large group of penetration twin purple fluorite cubes from the Boltsburn Mine, the best we have ever seen by an order of magnitude. The main crystal is 5.5 inches on edge, overall the specimen is more than 20cm total of historic English mining excellence. A true trophy for the most sophisticated collection. This group was collected sometime between 1892-1930, going into the Harvard Museum collection. It was traded into a private collection around 2010, and is now available in our Houston Gallery.
